Hetty Labots

Hetty Labots is the Rathenau Institute's HRM consultant. She also chairs the Health & Safety committee and promotes health and wellbeing among staff. Hetty fills a similar role at two other KNAW institutes: the Huygens Institute and DANS. She advises and assists management in all areas of personnel management, produces policy proposals, runs the recruitment and selection procedures, negotiates salary and secondary benefits with (new) employees, and advises them about their legal rights. Hetty also mediates in any conflicts between management and staff, helps those who have been on sick leave make the return to work, and assists in staffing and career planning.
