Biosecurity at the Science-Policy Nexus: Developing a Vision for the Future

The workshop took place against the background of rising concerns about bioterrorism and international calls for national biosecurity. Formulated in response to the perceived challenge of implementing biosecurity across disparate communities and in anticipation of a coordinated biosecurity system in the Netherlands, the agenda sought to reveal the multi-dimensional nature of biosecurity and inspire insightful discussion and forward thinking ideas.
