The new series of Science System Assessment 'Facts and Figures' publications offer information about the current status of science for the benefit of government and policy-makers. The first edition, published in 2008, focused on universities. The 2009 edition offered an account of public research institutes.
The Rathenau Institute and the Royal Netherlands Academy for Arts and Sciences (KNAW) have developed a joint website presenting information about the Dutch science system. The website was launched in August 2010. See www.denederlandsewetenschap.nl (in Dutch)
