The Rathenau Institute has developed SAINT, which stands for Science Assessment Integrated Network Toolkit. This is a set of tools for bibliometric and patentometric research. This toolkit can be downloaded from this website. In return, we would like your help.
We developed this toolkit because existing tools did not meet our needs. The new toolkit is easy to use, the software is fully integrated and can handle a large amount of data. We hope it will make your research easier and more efficient.
We expressly invite you to use them, test them, and improve on them. To make that possible, we are making all source code available under a liberal open source licence. You can already use our public issue tracker. A forum and other collaboration tools will follow.
