Frank was named communications advisor at the Rathenau Instituut in May 2017.
Education and Career
Frank studied communications sciences at the University of Amsterdam and Broadcasting Communications Arts at San Francisco State University.
From 1991 to 2000 Frank was a researcher, editor and scriptwriter for television and media production companies. Consequently, he worked as a journalist for four years in New York City and wrote and edited texts for several editions of the World Water Forum, where scientists and stakeholders convene to address the water crisis.
Starting in 2010, Frank worked as senior editor at PUM Netherlands senior experts. This volunteer organisation focuses on supporting SMEs in developing and emerging markets. Next to producing PUMmagazine, a quarterly publication, he was responsible for editing and compiling videos and website content and helped to enforce the nonprofit’s communications policy.
