Marijn is involved in projects exploring the ‘smart society’. Marijn currently works on blockchain technology, Internet of Things, sensor technology and the digitisation of the energy transition.
Education and career
Marijn studied Philosophy (BA) at the University of Groningen, where she wrote her thesis on ethical aspects of human enhancement technologies. She also graduated from the master Applied Ethics (MA) at Utrecht University, where she specialized in organization and business ethics. Marijn worked at KPMG Sustainability for three years. As a senior consultant, she advised governments and companies about sustainability and societal value creation.
