Martine’s studies sustainable problems, where she focuses on both the technological and on the societal aspects of the issue. At the Rathenau Instituut, she is as an intern part of the project on a Future-proof system for Intellectual Property. This project focuses on how to create a future-proof Dutch Intellectual Property system for future technologies like Biotechnology, Artificial Intelligence and 3D Printing. This internship is part of her master thesis.
Education and career
Martine completed the bachelor Future Planet Studies at the University of Amsterdam. During her bachelor's she went abroad to the University of Virginia for a minor in Environmental Sciences. In her master Innovation Sciences, she is aimed to learn more about the societal process of (sustainable) innovations.
