Rik joined the Rathenau Instituut in January 2022 as a researcher. He is involved in the analysis of quantitative data on the Dutch science system and in publications on a variety of topics concerning Dutch science. Rik also works on projects related to science policy.
Education and career
Rik holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration and Organizational Science and a master’s degree in Research in Public Administration and Organizational Science, both obtained at Utrecht University. As a PhD candidate at the Department of Public Administration and Sociology at Erasmus University Rotterdam he researched the interaction between EU regulatory agencies and private stakeholders.
