Jan Buevink is communications advisor at the Rathenau Instituut.
Education and career
Jan studied political science in Nijmegen. He worked as an editor for university magazines in Maastricht and Amsterdam (VU) and for the employers' organisation VNO-NCW. He was public relations officer for the Social and Economic Council (SER) and communication specialist for responsible investment at asset manager APG. A few years ago, he obtained his first grade teaching qualification. At various schools, he taught social studies to pupils in VMBO, HAVO and VWO schools.
