Conference systems epigenetics
This conference brings together scientists from multidisciplinary fields, providing a platform for scientists focusing on fundamental and biomedical research, clinicians and private sector scientists.
Pieter van Boheemen from the Rathenau Instituut will conduct the workshop 'From experiment to the market'. It will cover prospects and challenges for translation and commercialization of breakthroughs from systems epigenetics, for promising patient treatment strategies, for example (epi)genome editing technologies.
We will also introduce ethical, societal and legal aspects and hurdles of precision medicine. The workshop will include a dialogue involving industry, the research community as well as scholars with relevant social science and science policy making expertise raising, awareness of this exciting field.
