The Rathenau Institute has developed a protocol for the monitoring and evaluation of the six Applied Research (TO2) institutions.

Authors

This protocol has been developed in consultation with the institutions and the involved ministries. It provides a structured method for assessing the quality and impact of the TO2-research. The evaluations are not only necessary for accounting for the spending of public funds, but also to implement improvements, where necessary.
