Marit works as a researcher at the Rathenau Instituut.
Study and career
Marit studied Philosophy and Media Studies at the University of Groningen and also completed the Master's degree in Philosophy here. During her studies, she focused on philosophical reflections on technological developments. For her master's thesis, she researched the impact of the use of 'learning analytics' on education.
Besides her studies, Marit's experience included working as an editor at the public broadcaster, researcher for the Hanze University Groningen and as a member of the Data Autonomy working group at the University of Groningen.
