Drs. Nuweira van Goens Youskine

Upon returning from a two-years preparatory PhD research in Damascus (Syria), Nuweira switched from academia to journalism. For many years she worked as a radio host, a researcher for various radio- and t.v. productions and as a columnist for the national daily Trouw. She taught communication skills at the Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences and until recently was a policy advisor for the House of Representatives and the South Holland province. At the Rathenau Instituut, she works as a parliamentary liaison and assists the department of communication.
