Within the Digital Society theme, among other things, Bo is researching the social aspects of quantum technology and the way governments, scientists, companies and civil society organizations are addressing them.
Education and career
After one and a half years of Artificial Intelligence, Bo switched to the University of Amsterdam's Bachelor of Law. She took electives in the field of human rights as well as political journalism. After this, Bo chose the specialization Internet, Intellectual Property and ICT within the Master of Law at the Free University of Amsterdam. Here she graduated (cum laude) with research on the clash between Article 10 ECHR and the business practice of social media platforms, and the extent to which those platforms have human rights responsibilities. Before Bo joined the Rathenau Institute, she worked at Open State Foundation.
