Rosanne Edelenbosch is a research coordinator within the theme of health innovation.

Rosanne Edelenbosch focuses on socially responsible innovation in the health domain. Together with her team, she investigates the societal impact of emerging technologies such as biotechnology, digitization, and neurotechnology. The team uses creative methods for societal dialogue. A central question for her is always how public values are incorporated into politics and policy.

Education and career

Rosanne obtained her PhD with research on dialogue about neurotechnology. She has a multidisciplinary background: after studying Medicine in Leiden, she completed a master's degree in Medical Anthropology & Sociology (UvA) and a master's degree in Management, Policy Analysis & Entrepreneurship in Health & Life Sciences (VU). At the Athena Institute of the VU University Amsterdam, she taught and conducted research on methods for involving stakeholders in scientific research. She has been working at the Rathenau Institute since 2016.
