On Thursday 7 March the 'Forum on the upscaling of urban experiments' will take place in Utrecht. Are you a municipal or academic professional and are you involved with experiments concerning mobility, environmental planning, energy transition, smart city, quality of water, or related themes? If so, this Forum provides the perfect opportunity for you to exchange best practice and learn from each other's successes and fiascos.
In an age where more and more experiments are conducted at city level, upscaling is a much debated topic. A bike sharing system may function well for a limited group of passengers, but what is the impact of this system on mobility on a city level?
During this meeting you will be informed of recent and relevant insights concerning the upscaling of those components of experiments that have proven successful. Furthermore, based on experiences in cities such as Amsterdam, Utrecht, Zwolle, Eindhoven, Groningen, Den Bosch, Maastricht, Brussel, Graz, and Bellinzona, you will be given practical tools to deal with these challenges in your own work environment.
The Forum is a unique collaboration between four scientific consortia:
Location: Oudaen, Utrecht. The working language for this meeting is English.
