What proportion of all companies are active in innovation? In this data publication, we show the number of innovative enterprises as a share of all enterprises in a number of EU countries over the period 2018-2020.
In short
- In the Netherlands, 56,3 percent of all business enterprises perform innovative activities. This is higher than the EU-27 average (51,4 percent).
- Belgian, Norwegian, German and Italian companies are leaders in innovation in this comparison.
